  • Who is ASoft Business Solutions?

ASoft Business Solutions has been providing easy to understand, user-friendly HR software since 2004. Our software is being used by companies as small as 10 employees and  large companies with thousands of employees.

  • What is HR Assistant?

HR Assistant is a Human Resource Management System for today’s managers and human resource professionals who need an easy way to store, retrieve, and safeguard employee information.

  • How can I evaluate HR Assistant?

The trial version includes all of the features of the full version of HR Assistant except that it restricts the number of employee records to fifty and user records to three.

  • What are the limitations or restrictions in the trial version?

The trial version is limited to creating fifty employee records and three user records in the user’s database. It also has an expiration period (60 days) for which the program will run.

  • What is the User ID and Password for the trial version?

The User ID is: 101 and the Password is: 12345.

  • What’s the difference between the single-user and multi-user versions?

The single-user version is licensed for use by only one user. It prevents simultaneous access to the employee database. Multi-user versions, and their respective licenses, cover users either on single PCs, a network, or any combination thereof. Multi-user versions allow for simultaneous access to the employee database.

  • Can I restrict users to specific areas of employee information?

HR Assistant allows the administrator to set up profiles and user-level access rights to the system.

  • Can I create my own fields for some of the tables?

HR Assistant has over 50 user-defined fields to allow greater flexibility for individual needs. User can even customize the description labels for each of these fields.

  • The HR Assistant Lite versions restrict the user to 100 records. How does that work?

This is the total number of employee records, including terminated employees. If you are nearing the maximum number of records, you can simply delete some of the older inactive records to free up record space.
